Background

I've been working as a furniture restorer and cabinet maker for over sixteen years. Having trained at Rycote Wood College in Oxford, to gain a Higher National diploma in Furniture Restoration, I went on to work with several BAFRA accredited restorers as an apprentice.

The experience of working with such talented people, taught me a great deal about the importance of the standard of work. I continued to develop and fine tune my own skills, making me very proud to produce only the highest quality restoration results.

Ultimately, my now considerable experience and passion for restoration has lead me to owning my own restoration business. As part of the Scott Bennett Antique Restoration service I have had the pleasure of undertaking antique furniture and clock restoration, renovation and conservation for a number of private clients, collectors and antique dealers.

As well as furniture and clock restoration I also specialise in cabinet making and can produce any piece of furniture to clients individual needs including copies of antique chairs.
